Our client is seeking a talented Account Executive to join our sales team at an expanding growing Corporate Learning company. As an Account Executive, you will need extensive K-12 experience to own and manage the K-12 sales funnel. This role would be a new business-focused individual contributor position, working with net new business & upsells of existing accounts.


64% of students currently nationwide are not reading proficiently by the end of third grade, 75% of whom will never catch up. Our clients we feel these numbers represent real students who will struggle in all aspects of life without a strong reading foundation; and are aiming to provide the solution.


Responsibilities:

  • Prospect potential new clients through cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, and networking events
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Develop and nurture relationships with clients to understand their corporate learning needs
  • Recommend and sell tailored learning solutions to meet client training goals
  • Build pipeline and close new business whilst supporting growth within your territory
  • Negotiate and close deals to sign new client contracts
  • Manage portfolio of existing accounts by upselling new features and ensuring high retention
  • Maintain updated records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM
  • Represent company at trade shows, conferences and networking events



Requirements:

  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably within the K-12 industry
  • 3+ years tenure in your current role
  • Strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills
  • Strong track record of delivering product growth and revenue gains
  • Persistent, positive attitude and ability to overcome objections
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field
