New London Local Schools New London Local Schools is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Fitness Center Attendant. The Fitness Center Attendant will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the community fitness center, providing excellent customer service to patrons, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Responsibilities:

1. Greet and assist patrons in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Monitor access to the fitness center and ensure compliance with facility rules and regulations.
3. Provide tours of the fitness center to potential members and answer inquiries about membership and services.
4. Assist patrons with equipment setup and usage.
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fitness center, including equipment, floors, and common areas.
6. Perform routine maintenance tasks on fitness equipment and report any issues to management.
7. Enforce safety protocols and respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents.
8. Conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure equipment functionality and safety.
9. Keep accurate records of daily attendance, equipment maintenance, and incident reports.
10. Assist in organizing and promoting fitness center events, programs, and classes.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in customer service or a fitness-related environment preferred.
3. Basic knowledge of fitness equipment and exercise techniques.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. CPR and first aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
7. Ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
8. Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
