Are you ready to play a crucial role in the IT evolution of a global construction leader? We are actively searching for an IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our dynamic team in the vibrant Westchase area of Houston, TX. With an enticing base salary of up to $150,000, this on-site position places you at the forefront of shaping, maintaining, and supporting our worldwide IT Infrastructure, influencing over 10,000 employees and 150+ offices.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee, support, and maintain global on-premise and cloud infrastructures.
- Lead the ongoing global migration from on-premise IT infrastructure to a cloud-managed environment.
- Develop, manage, and execute infrastructure projects for business-wide initiatives.
- Handle 2nd/3rd line Help Desk calls, guiding items to resolution, and providing technical support and mentoring.
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance checks, ensuring properly patched servers, and implementing corrective actions to address issues.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Proficient in the Microsoft 365 environment and Admin Center (Microsoft cloud technologies, M365, AzureAD, Intune, Autopilot, Defender ATP, Endpoint Manager, OneDrive, etc).
- Previous experience in internal IT, supporting environments with 10,000+ employees.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Technologies, including Windows Servers (2012, 2016 & 2019), Active Directory, and Group Policies.
- Extensive experience with VMWare, vCentre, & ESXi, demonstrating virtualization expertise.
- Strong Network experience in Aruba and or Cisco
- Solid understanding of Storage, SAN, NAS, and Backup Technologies, ensuring data integrity and availability.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a well-rounded IT infrastructure specialist.
