Join the ranks of a premier Indianapolis interior design firm renowned since 2005 for its expertise in kitchen design, custom cabinetry, window treatments, millwork, and sophisticated, vibrant design. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Design Sales Manager to join us full-time!

This is a full-time, W-2 position in Indianapolis!
The Offer:
- Compensation structure: Base plus commission
- $50k salary base plus commission with TRUE first year earnings of $75k
- 401k available from day one, with a 4% match available after 1 year

A Day in the Life:
- Report to the showroom, where you ll partner with other designers and focus on project management of each existing sale through the installation process
- Travel to in-home appointments, demonstrating focused expertise on product lines to execute sales
- Price and quote luxury design projects
- Form relationships with builders, clients, and other stakeholders, taking part in lead generation and business development
- Maintain relationships with current esteemed, luxury clientele
- Practice upfront design sales for luxury custom designs without sticker shock or fear of an upsell
- Hours: M-F, 8:00am-5:00pm, with flexibility to close sales
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years experience designing and selling custom cabinetry, window coverings and/or furniture
- Millwork/custom fabrication sales experience is a plus
- Proven lead generation capabilities, with a track record of sales execution
- A knack for applying product knowledge to create a laser-focused profile of product recommendations for clients, aiding them in the selection process and proactively closing sales
- Design sales project management experience, from recommendation to installation - the design is not > the sale
- Entrepreneurial, detail-oriented, and driven
- Born to work at a fast pace and not deterred by 6-month project deadlines
- Not slow to recommend a $36k+ sale - ideally, this is second nature based on your experience
- Ability to read CAD and floor plans and understand design scale
