Adjunct Faculty / Guest Lecturer / Consultant

ICOM Adjuncts are Independent Contractors. ICOM is seeking adjunct faculty for inclusion in a pool of qualified applicants to teach or consult in one or more of the following areas: Anatomy, Biochemistry, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Microbiology, OPP, Pathology, Pediatric Medicine, Pharmacology, Physiology, Radiology, Research, Surgery, Women's Health and related topics.

RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

Providing consulting services in assigned content area

Prepare and deliver lectures and class sessions on assigned topics in content area

Prepare learning objectives for your assigned lectures and class sessions

Prepare any recommended or required reading assignments

Prepare handouts, teaching materials and assessment questions for lectures and class sessions

Read, understand and adhere to the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (CLERY), and Title IX

KEY COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Perform in a professional manner


Requirements

  • Appropriate degree in area of instruction
  • Relevant experience
  • Board Certification by the appropriate AOA or ACGME specialty board, as required
  • US citizenship or authorization to work in the US - at this time ICOM cannot sponsor international visa applications
