Job Details

As an Environmental Engineer specializing in industrial wastewater treatment system construction, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of wastewater treatment projects. This position requires a strong technical background in environmental engineering, hands-on experience in construction management, and the ability to think quickly and find effective solutions in the field.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the construction and installation of industrial wastewater treatment systems at project sites, ensuring compliance with design specifications, regulatory requirements, and environmental standards.
  2. Provide technical expertise and guidance to construction teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders throughout the construction process.
  3. Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to identify potential challenges and develop appropriate solutions to ensure project success.
  4. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals for construction activities.
  5. Monitor project progress, budget, and schedule, and take proactive measures to address any issues or delays that may arise during construction.
  6. Prepare progress reports, documentation, and presentations for project stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and solutions.
  7. Provide training and support to onsite personnel on proper installation, operation, and maintenance of wastewater treatment systems.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to wastewater treatment and environmental engineering.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental engineering, with a focus on wastewater treatment system design and construction.
  • Strong technical knowledge of industrial wastewater treatment processes, equipment, and technologies.
  • Proven experience in construction management, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly and find creative solutions in a dynamic field environment.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and regulatory agencies.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed and work in outdoor and potentially challenging conditions.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to comply with safety regulations and protocols.
