Job Description
We are looking to fill entry-level positions in our Bread Baking department . You are going to get proper training from our professional bakers who know the ins and outs of handcrafting high-quality artisanal organic breads. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our ever-growing bakery!
You do not need previous experience in the baking industry, just strong motivation and the ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
As a Full-Time Baker in the bread department, you will be responsible for:
* Working in a team environment to follow recipes and standard operating procedures
* Maintaining tools and personal hygiene to ensure food safety and quality standards
* Preparing flour and other ingredients by hand or assisted with commercial bakery equipment
* Shaping dough to bake different types of bread
* Operating commercial bakery equipment such as commercial ovens, loaders, dough mixers, proofers
* Working quickly to ensure production targets are met
Hours
For this position, you must have open scheduling availability to work any day of the week
* 2PM-10PM
* 5 days a week including Saturday and Sunday
Requirements
* Open availability to work any day of the week
* Reliable transportation to work: less than 30 minutes commute
* Able to lift up to 50 lbs
* Able to work in a standing position for 8+ hours shifts.
* Reading, writing, speaking, listening comprehension proficiency in English
