SALARY RANGE

$63k - $67k

The Accounting Coordinator is a liaison for the Accounting department with internal departments, members, and vendors. Primary duties include maintaining accurate records, helping to prepare financial reports and paperwork, and ensuring that all work is completed in a timely manner. The Accounting Coordinator assists with resolving account discrepancies, handles data clean up in Salesforce, and supports program launches with thorough testing.

ACCOUNTING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Daily reconciliation of cash accounts.
  • First tier support for internal and external requests directed to the Accounting Department.
  • Assist with cash disbursements, invoices, refunds, and Accounts Receivable collections.
  • Reconcile Accounts Receivable balances and GL; research, explain and resolve variances.
  • Support Accounting team in prep of month end with Journal entries and during audit.
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
BUSINESS SYSTEMS RESPONSIBLITIES
  • Provide escalated case management support to resolve household management discrepancies.
  • Assist with investigating and preparing resolutions for data hygiene issues related to household billing management.
  • Support program registration testing and launches.
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor or Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or another relevant subject, or at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Salesforce experience a plus; ability to learn new technologies required.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivation to set and complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Ability to follow instructions and seek out answers when needed.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Maintain a high degree of ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Desire to grow professionally.


WORKING CONDITIONS

Working conditions are typical of an office environment. A hybrid work schedule of up to 50% remote work is available, subject to program requirements and team schedules.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Position requires seated or standing use of a computer throughout the day. Minimal walking, carrying, and reaching occasionally required.
