General Summary:
- Senior Manager, Procurement is responsible for the implementation of the Sourcing Strategies and tactical execution of procurement related activities for his/her assigned commodity groups. This role includes the direct management of a team of highly skilled strategic sourcing leaders, tactical buyers and project engineers. This position will also be required to influence a broad cross functional team which will support activities such as new product introduction, obsolescence and risk management.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- assignment and delegation of day-to-day procurement related tasks
- business metrics to evaluate Supplier Performance, Supply Chain Efficiency, Product Quality and overall Cost Effectiveness of sourcing activities
- and implement corrective action plans to resolve product quality, performance, delivery and cost related issues
- routine supplier business reviews, performance evaluations, and audit compliance with Honda Aircraft Supplier Requirements Manual
- and approve Supply Chain documentation, deliverables, and business critical decisions.

Education, Work Experience, Certification and/or Licensure:
- to 15 years combined experience in any of the following areas:
- Chain, Manufacturing Planning or Logistics Management
- Manufacturing, Quality, or Operations Engineering
- Product Development, and/or Project Management
- years experience within aerospace industry, preferred
- of Science in engineering or supply chain discipline required; Master s degree highly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- have workable knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites
- oral and written communication skills required
- sourcing capabilities with established records
Physical Requirements:
- may be routinely exposed to equipment operational noise heat-cold-dust, and/or aircraft equipment, parts, or fuel odors.
