Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and communicate project schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to project timelines. Offer ongoing scheduling support to Project Management staff across all project phases.
  • Coordinate daily activities for subcontractors at every stage of construction, ensuring alignment with design, budget, and schedule requirements.
  • Manage construction budgets as directed by the Project Manager, tracking costs and promptly submitting invoices to Accounting.
  • Prepare detailed daily log reports documenting site conditions, manpower, and activities.
  • Enforce safety procedures in compliance with OSHA and company standards, conducting pre-installation safety evaluations and action plans with contractors.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the construction site, ensuring availability and proper maintenance of machinery and tools.
  • Schedule and participate in inspections mandated by local and state regulations, coordinating final inspections upon completion of work.
  • Monitor daily construction procedures to uphold quality standards and ensure consistent communication with project management staff regarding project status and potential challenges.
  • Respond promptly to onsite incidents and emergencies following company protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in construction supervision, encompassing new construction and/or renovation/fit-out projects.
  • Willingness to travel and manage out-of-town work, with an expected travel percentage of 40 to 60%.
  • Advanced knowledge of various trades involved in commercial construction.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings, contracts, and specifications.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and experience implementing safety protocols.
  • Experience in scheduling work, materials, manpower, subcontractors, and equipment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to engage in frequent physical activity such as standing, walking, climbing, bending, and reaching, as well as occasional desk work using a computer or laptop.
