Job Description: Scientist or Senior Scientist, High-Throughput Biology
Responsibilities include:
- Work in a highly collaborative team focused on advancing our gene editing platforms.
- Develop innovative assays to investigate thousands of library members.
- Lead technology development strategy and design/build/test improved systems.
- Lead engineering and characterization of novel editing systems with high-throughput experimentation.
- Maintain detailed, well-organized, and timely documentation of experiments and data.
- Effectively analyze and present data, and communicate research plans and timelines to the team.
- Collaborate with the bioinformatics team to build robust screening workflows.

Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, or a related field or B.S./ B.A. with 5+ years of biotech industry experience.
- Mammalian cell culture experience.
- Lentivirus library design and preparation.
- NGS library construction and sequencing.
- NGS data analysis.
- Critical thinker with excellent communication skills who thrives in a multidisciplinary fast-paced team environment.

- Attention to detail, with the ability to extract deep insights from data.
- Ability to go from ideation to data in an independent fashion.
- Long-term personal vision with defined career goals.
- Experience with CRISPR-Cas systems and/or gene editing and delivery technologies.
- Familiarity with Python, R, or other programming languages.
- Experience with in vivo studies.
