Description: *Pay rate* $10.85 an hour, plus tips SUMMARY: To welcome guests and provide superior service. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards. RESPONSIBILITIES - Greet guests, take food and beverage orders, deliver orders, check back, ensure satisfaction and pre-bus tables - Operate point-of-sales system and handle cash and cash equivalents - Answer questions, provide menu suggestions and offer event and promotional information - Complete stocking and cleaning duties - Help clean tables and surrounding areas after guests leave - Provide assistance and break coverage to coworkers - Communicate with coworkers and management to ensure superior service to guests QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge and Certification Required: - 6 months Server experience in similar culinary environment - Previous point-of-sales systems experience - Previous cash handling experience Preferred: - High School Diploma/GED Skills Required: - Accurate and detail-oriented - Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities - Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills - Above average math skills Abilities Required: - Ability to work fast and efficiently - Ability to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygiene - Ability to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous manner - Ability to enthusiastically and professionally sell and up-sell food & beverage products - Ability to speak in a clear, concise and pleasant voice - Ability to complete multiple tasks under pressure while maintaining a professional manner
