This role involves creating digital designs for multimedia systems, ensuring smooth integration of operating room equipment, and optimizing customer satisfaction through efficient and high-quality work. Ideal candidates should have expertise in Vectorworks software and be well-versed in drafting tools. Additionally, a strong commitment to customer service and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this position.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed AV system designs including rack configurations, network diagrams, and electrical plans.
  • Collaborate with team members and incorporate feedback to refine and finalize design drafts.
  • Establish and implement standardized project procedures for drafting and documentation.
  • Support the transition and utilization of advanced software tools for design work.
  • Conduct research on the latest AV equipment and technologies used in our integration projects.
  • Participate in relevant training, meetings, and cross-departmental interactions.
  • Interpret architectural plans and integrate AV systems accordingly.
  • Communicate project changes, issues, and concerns to the relevant stakeholders.


Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proficiency and experience in drafting software.
  • 1+ year of experience with Vectorworks
  • Experience with CAD is preferred
  • Familiarity with other 3D software tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of construction practices and architectural standards is desired.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Self-reliance, initiative, and innovative thinking are highly valued.
  • Comfortable working with minimal supervision and direction.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to adapt to variable work hours and adjust schedules based on project requirements.
  • Familiarity with low-voltage systems and networking is advantageous.
  • Successful completion of a drug screening and background check.
  • Consistent and punctual attendance is crucial.
  • This is an in-office position with the possibility of a hybrid schedule.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative work environment.
