Pride Health is currently looking candidates for Accessioner I position in Overland Park , KS. This is a 3-months contract position.

Job Type: 3 month - W2 contract
Hours per week: 40
Schedule: 2nd Shift. Mon Fri 6pm -
2:30am
Pay range - $16 - $18/hr. (Pay depends on candidate's experience and skills.)
Responsibilities:
- The main function of an Accessioner is responsible for processing laboratory samples.
- Work with other laboratory employees to catalog patient specimens, like blood, urine, or tissue, for analysis.
- Mostly work with blood. Lab professionals carry out diagnosis and treatment based on the samples received.
- Receives and triages all specimens for clinical testing.
- Manages clinical information within LIMS database.
- Performs internal audits of clinical charts. And collaborates with various departments to ensure testing accuracy.
Requirements/ Qualifications:
- Strong data entry skills (Ability to type at least 45 wpm and ability to
10 keys)
- AS or BS degree in biological sciences preferred.
- 0-2 years of work experience.
