Companions & Homemakers provides premier in-home senior care to help older adults thrive at home with optimal independence, health, safety and happiness, all while affording their loved ones complete peace of mind.Job Summary / Purpose:Care Coordinators are responsible for coordinating the daily schedules for assigned caregivers and clients on the Medicaid side. This role will ensure that all shifts are staffed appropriately and will work to drive high-quality service to our caregivers and the clients they support. Care Coordinators are also responsible for ensuring that the caregiver experience through their time with C&H is supported at every step. This will include trouble-shooting caregiver inquiries and concerns with other departments, compliance, ongoing training and coaching as appropriate.Required Skills, Education and Certifications:Associate Degree or equivalent years of training or work experienceOne (1) year of scheduling experience in a health care setting using an online scheduling system is preferredProven organizational skills and detail orientationAbility to multitask, work under pressure with changing priorities and short deadlines, and effectively handle a heavy workloadAbility to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, with clinical and non-clinical personnelProficiency on the computer and comfortable with heavy phone usageBenefits:Weekly paychecksPaid TrainingPaid Time Off Including a Floating HolidayOne work from home day a weekVarious options for Medical, Dental, Vision and 401kCT DCP HCA0002052
