What We re Looking For:
We are seeking the right person to join our commercial brokerage team. The Associate position is an opportunity to work with Senior Brokers in Maine & New Hampshire's top commercial real estate brokerage and learn about the industry by actively marketing current listings, assisting with tenant and buyer representation assignments, acquiring new business, cold calling, developing proposals, and bringing deals through the sale & leasing cycle.
The ideal candidate is someone eager to work in the commercial real estate industry, with a strong work ethic, an entrepreneurial mindset, sales training and experience, and a high competency for problem-solving. This position requires a well-rounded professional with effective time management, analytical and interpersonal skills. An appetite to learn, the ability to work collaboratively, and a propensity to take ownership of projects are all qualities that will help you succeed in this role.
This role will be based in our Portland, Maine office, but will work primarily in the Lewiston and Augusta, Maine markets.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Sales experience strongly preferred
- Commercial real estate or property management experience is ideal but not required
- A desire to work in office in Portland, Maine is a firm requirement
- 2-3 years of professional business experience required
- A team player who is eager to assist brokers & clients
- Excellent written, verbal and personal skills and is able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize with strong attention to detail
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce experience a plus
