The Incumbent Production Control Clerk performs a variety of clerical duties requiring knowledge of engineering routine and an understanding of the organization, programs, and procedures related to the work of the facilities management shop. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Monitors the progress of work orders and preventative maintenance tasks in order to ensure proper tracking and accountability.Inputs data from work documents for assigned shops which could include labor hours and associated trade codes plus any notes pertaining to specified work.Validates the accuracy of ongoing and/or completion information and accuracy of current work order data system collection data and communicates with department supervisors to coordinate and update changes in MAXIMO.Keeps track of all assigned work documents and provides up-to-date status to assigned shops and the work management system by assessing shop efficiencies/inefficiencies, developing schedules, analyzing trends in DSW accomplishment, recommending improvements for irregularities in work performance, and responding to inquiries relating to Work Orders. Verifies and explains on work documents all associated costs (labor, material, subcontract, etc.) for each completed job. Prints, sorts and distributes a variety of work documents such as service calls, project work orders and preventive maintenance task documents to appropriate shops.Maintains and files all completed work documents, warranties and other pertinent information pertaining to each facility.Schedules work appointment with customers as required.Supports other Work Control staff as needed or directed.Interfaces with customers and responsible for customer feedback, as applicable.Compiles and records production data from such documents as customer orders, work tickets, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets.Calculates factors such as types and quantities of items produced, materials used, amount of scrap, frequency of defects, and worker and department production rates.Writes production reports based on data compiled, tabulated, and computed.Maintains files of documents used and prepared.Compiles, from customer orders and other specifications, detailed production sheet or work tickets for use by production workers as guides in assembly or manufacture of product.Prepares written work schedules based on established guidelines and priorities.Compiles material inventory records and prepares requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies.Charts production, based on statistics compiled, for reference by production and management personnel.Sorts and distributes work tickets or material to workers.Complies completed work tickets and/or timesheets in order to record time worked and wages.Answers telephone and provide status inquiry responses to customers and upper management.Work also involves other duties as assigned.QualificationsEducation and Experience:Two years verifiable experience as a production control clerk or statistician in the field of facilities supportFamiliarization with standard operating systems including email and word processing required.Work requires accurate computerized data base entry skills.Use and operation of standard office equipment required.Must be fluent in English.Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to write simple correspondence.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.History of work within military community preferredSupervisory Responsibilities:As RequiredSecurity Responsibilities:As RequiredCertificates, Licenses, Registrations:As RequiredThis contractor and subcontractor shall abide by the requirements of 41 CFR 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
