Senior Sales Planning Manager
Location: Baltimore County
Salary: $130,000 - $140,000 plus bonus
Company Profile: One of the leading Food/CPG companies in the world is looking for a Senior Sales Planning Manager. This person will assist on the creation of sales and marketing plans for the largest category in the organization. This person will be the liaison between sales and marketing to pinpoint ideal forecasting, pricing promotions, new product introduction and development, and market displays. You will problem-solve and resolve issues with Sales/Trade promotion strategies that support and drive national business objectives to achieve sales & profit goals. The Senior Sales Planning Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Translate and deploy strategic direction from Marketing
- Resolution of various, often unique, Sales and Customer issues
- Participate in new item and promotion forecast
- Work along with the Category Management, Revenue Management and Shopper Marketing on strategic initiatives
- Develop and implement promotional event reviews and evaluation of trade spending
- Participate in joint planning sessions with field sales managers and brokers to ensure one comprehensive plan
The Senior Sales Planning Manager should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree a must; ideally in Sales or Marketing
- 7+ years of sales experience including (sales planning, account management, new product development, marketing, and analytics)
- Category management experience is a plus
- People management experience is a plus (this role will have 3 direct reports)
- Project management
- Nielsen Data, and IRI
This is a full-time hybrid position in Baltimore County, MD.
