One weekend day per week will be required. The primary shift for this position will be either 4pm to 2am or 10pm or 8am.

**This position is eligible for the following differentials:**

* Evening $3/hour

* Night $4/hour

* Weekend $2/hour (in addition to any applicable Evening or Night differentials)

**JOB DESCRIPTION:**

The primary responsibilities of the Security Officer are to conduct patrol duties, respond immediately to emergency and non-emergency calls for assistance, and document services provided on each shift. The Security Officer is expected to act in a courteous and professional manner at all times in alignment with organizational values and standards.

**EDUCATION:**

High school diploma or equivalent.

**EXPERIENCE:**

Previous experience in Security, Military or Law Enforcement strongly preferred. The successful candidate must be able to understand oral and written instructions along with excellent communication skills.

Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail required.

Ability to work under pressure and be able to adapt to evolving situations.

Successful background checks and related eligibility requirements for employment in a healthcare organization.

Must be able to attain the following that the employer will provide:

-BLS (Basic Life Support) certification within 6 months of hire.

-IAHSS (International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety) Basic training within 6 months of hire.

-MOAB (Management of Aggressive Behavior) training within the first 3 months of hire.
