***As Idaho's premier metal recycling center, North American Recycling's experience is second to none; and over the years we have worked with thousands of customers, from local residents with a few pounds of cans to large companies with truckloads of scrap material. We are currently seeking a Production Laborer.***
* Identifies and sorts different types of materials
* Must be courteous and patient with employees and customers
* Able to be a team contributor and be able to work on your own
* Helps with housekeeping/including sweeping during down times
* Responsible for observing and following all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment
* Must be willing to fill other tasks when needed by supervisor
**Minimum Qualifications:**
* Excellent Interpersonal skills
* Able to work in the heat of the summer and cold of the winter
* Must be able to stand for long periods of time
* Good attendance and punctuality is a must
* Ability to provide quality customer service
* Basic computer skills desired
* Effective written communication skills and ability to complete paperwork promptly
* Analytical and Problem solving skills
* Experience operating forklifts and or/ skidsteers or other heavy equipment a plus!
**Physical Requirements:**
* Ability to sit, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach and work on your feet for extended periods of time
* The employee occasionally is required to lift up to 50 pounds. The employee is frequently required to use hands, fingers; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel or crouch.
