* ****$18.24**** / hour (****after 1 year)****

While reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for contributing to the production environment. Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. You must have a proven record of success in a fast-paced environment. You must have the ability to work with various teams and have a good eye to spot defects in the packing line. You will take pride in your personal hands-on and analytical abilities, organizational skills and attention to detail
* Assemble, pack, close and stack boxes.
* Maintain a safe working environment. Safety is your #1 priority.
* Pack boxes according to instructions.
* Removes finished parts from press; visually inspects to assure quality; move parts to designated area.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment
* Full time plus overtime as required.
* Report any quality defects to quality, machine operator or supervisor
* Collaborating closely with other departments and teams
* Performing all duties in support of Sonocos quality and safety policies.
****Successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background checks.**** Must be able to frequently bend, stand, stoop and grasp and work in a fast-paced environment. Must be willing to work overtime and have demonstrated solid work record. Sonoco is a drug and smoke-free workplace.
