Job Details
We are looking for friendly, responsible, enthusiastic retail sales associates to work part time (weekends and weekdays) at our new toy store in Fairfield, Connecticut. Must have prior retail experience and be 18+
Job duties:
- Warmly welcome customers as they enter the store
- Actively engage customers and assist in the understanding, demonstration, description and selection of our merchandise.
- Recommend the best age, occasion, and price approprioate products to customers
- Quickly and neatly gift wrap purchases
- Work with POS system to process orders, returns and exchanges
- Clean and restock the store throughout the day
- Assist with inventory pricing and re-merchandising as needed
- Respond to all customer comments and complaints positively and professionally
Requirements:
- Proven retail sales experience in a boutique store environment, with opening/closing duties
- Quickly develop and retain a comprehensive understanding of the products we carry
- Provide accurate product information and stay up to date on new products
- Maintain a clean and visually appealing store appearance at all times
- Have advanced customer service skills
- Have familiarity with POS systems. Shopify experience strongly preferred!
- Have a high level of professionalism at work
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be available weekdays and weekends, including some holidays.
Hourly Rate: $20/hr
