3rd Shift Maintenance Specialist


Job Details

TRC s client is an established auto parts manufacturer looking for a 3rd shift Maintenance Specialist to join their team in Portland, ME on a full-time, direct hire basis.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform mechanical maintenance, repairs, and installation of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and program PLCs on existing equipment.
  • Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unsafe conditions to supervisor with improvement suggestions.
  • Work with Engineering to rebuild, design, and upgrade new existing equipment.
  • Clean and maintain concentration levels on wash/coolant/RP tanks daily.
  • Perform periodical lubrication maintenance schedule for assigned machines.
  • Change oil and filters on machines as scheduled.
  • Install electrical utilities, meeting all state, local, and federal codes.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • A.S. in the electrical or mechanical trades or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to use electrical, electronic, and PLC testing and diagnostic equipment.
  • Working knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and appropriate OSHA standards.
  • Flexibility to alter work schedule for timely completion of projects.
  • Understanding of equipment schematics.
