The Client:

My client is a self-perform national contractor operating in the Infrastructure, Civil, Healthcare, Municipal, and Federal spaces. They have built projects ranging from small renovations to $200M+ full scale roadways and transportation hubs. They have grown incredibly over the last few years, reaching almost $1B in annual revenue and with that growth, they are expanding their project management team in Detroit There is no travel associated with this role.


The Role/Responsibilities:

Working directly with the general manager for the Detroit division, this role will directly oversee projects and handle processes from preconstruction through completion.

  • Participate in bid package review
  • Assist in estimating projects based on detailed SOW
  • Reach out to local subcontractors and internal self-perform teams to assess costs
  • Attend and lead client meetings
  • Put together schedules and risk assessments
  • Visit job sites for meetings and walkthroughs
  • Handle change orders, RFIs, Submittals
  • Work with field management to stay up to date on project timeline
  • Resolve conflicts between stakeholders
  • Communicate consistently with all parties


Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience with a general contractor in project management
  • Experience in federal, municipal, or infrastructure projects is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred


Compensation/Benefits:

  • Starting salary of $110,000-$130,000
