Mobile Staging (warehouse) Technician - Part time Job Details Level Entry Job Location Mobile Collections - Tyler - Tyler, TX Position Type Part Time Education Level HS Diploma/GED Travel Percentage None Job Category Health Care Description **PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY**

Under the direction of the Manager of Mobile Collections, is responsible for ensuring that all necessary supplies, kits, equipment, and vehicles are prepared and available for all scheduled mobile drives. Must maintain an organized, well stocked, clean, and clutter-free work area and work under minimal supervision. Is required to manage equipment, control costs effectively, and demonstrate ability to prioritize tasks and complete assignments in a timely manner. Must possess valid Texas drivers license, and meet all Carter BloodCare's (CBC) driver guidelines, Commercial Drivers License preferred. Regular full-time attendance is required during office hours.

**PHYSICAL/MENTAL STRESS FACTORS**

* Ability to sit, walk, climb steps and step stools, stand, bend and lift, and carry up to 30 pounds without assistance.

* Mental stresses due to ensuring all mobiles leave with adequate, correct and functioning supplies and equipment.

* Mental stress associated with driving company vans, trucks, donor coaches and transporting staff to and from drive sites.

* Ability to operate other equipment necessary to perform job.

* CDL Holders are required to pass a DOT Medical Physical

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**

* Ensures all necessary equipment, supplies and kits are available for scheduled mobile drives.

* Orders and keeps appropriate inventory supply available for scheduled mobile drives.

* Packs equipment, supplies, and kits for mobile drives and checks equipment upon return of drive for damage that may have occurred during a drive.

* Cleans interior of vehicles and fills gas tanks prior to mobile drives.

* Assists in annual equipment audit.

* Drives vans, trucks, and donor coaches as requested in accordance with state laws and company policies.

* Works with peers to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely and proper manner.

**NON ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**

* Deliver and move equipment.

* Attend in-services and annual training classes as required.

* Deliver additional supplies to mobile drive sites if needed.

* Occasionally transport mobile staff between sites and/or Center.

* May be required to perform other appropriate tasks not addressed in this job description.

* Assist with kit making task as needed.

Qualifications **EDUCATION**

* General High School Education or GED

**SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**

* Basic communication skills

* Basic Computer skills

* Good organizational skills

* Detail oriented

* Commercial Drivers License (CDL) preferred

****EXPERIENCE****

* 1-3 years' work experience preferred

* Warehouse and driving experience a plus
