If you have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college and have your Certificate of Clearance, and passed the CBEST, and the apply for your 30- Day Emergency Teaching Permit. Substitute teachers will be paid at the rate of $ 195 per day K-8 certificated teachers. If employed continuously for a period exceeding 10 consecutive days for the same teacher, the rate increases to $ 215 per day K-8 beginning on the 11th consecutive day. Partial days will be prorated based on a 7 hour day.
