Construction Crew Lead

Job Details

Flyway SC is opening an entry-level role to lead our renovation, punch list, and maintenance crew. Our ideal candidate should possess strong trade skills and demonstrate a commitment to advancing their professional development within our general contracting and development practices. This role requires performing general trades, along with helping the project manager engage with clients and oversee other team members.

Flyway SC is vertically integrated and consists of development, construction, management, real estate services, and live music/events. Our emerging renovation and maintenance services will take on new projects that require the execution and quality control of a true general contractor but are smaller than the traditional scale of a GC. The Foreman will perform general trade work, as well as support our management and construction directors by inspecting managed properties, as well as commercial and residential construction and punch lists. Aside from performing the trades on Flyway s projects, the Foreman will also help start and close out the jobs by supporting project budgeting, procurement, scheduling, on-site coordination, and quality control. Liaising with clients, subs, and inspection authorities may also be required at times.

We promote each employee s freedom to self manage and implement best practices that suit their individual work style. The company is close-knit and we hold one another accountable to commonly held, high standards of performance. Therefore, self-motivation, a positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, social skills, and cultural fit are critical to the success of every individual and the company. Due to Flyway s vertical integration, every position within the company is collaborative, offering exposure to and mobility through other areas of construction and real estate.
