Maintenance Technician (Installation & Repair) - $4000+ Sing On Bonus

Comp: $22/hr. - $35/hr. (DOE), $3/hr. Shift differential, $4000+ sign on bonus.


Shift: Nights, 12-hours (7pm-7am), OT


Job Description:


We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician in Lexington, KY. This individual will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of all plant equipment and to perform maintenance and upkeep of the building and grounds. Candidates with electrical experience or background preferred. Great opportunity for overtime and growth within the company.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining industrial electrical systems and mechanical items.
  • Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting gearboxes, cylinders, pumps, valves etc. and repair/replace worn or defective parts.
  • Work in conjunction with PLC Engineer on PLC troubleshooting projects.
  • Fabricate as needed using cutting torch, welders, soldering, and brazing.
  • Troubleshooting and repair of CNC 3 & 4 axis machinery.
  • Repair of production line tools and equipment.
  • Work in conjunction with production for line startups and shutdowns.
  • Perform required preventative and predictive maintenance tasks.
  • Support team on any new equipment installations.
  • Answer emergency maintenance calls to avoid production downtime.

Qualifications:

  • Technical or industrial apprenticeship degree preferred or a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience.
  • Prior experience working with a manufacturing/production facility.
  • Experience with CNC maintenance.
  • Strong electrical background with experience working up to 480v.
  • Must be able to communicate on all levels and work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • A basic ability to understand written/oral instructions in English.
  • Ability to follow instructions quickly and accurately and work overtime, as needed.
  • Flexibility with daily task assignments.
  • Applying safe lifting techniques for lifting and carrying necessary materials and equipment, to include:
  • The ability to lift to 35 pounds consistently, 50 pounds occasionally.
  • The ability to lift, bend, stand and walk 12 + hours a day.
