**Role Summary:**

**The Warehouse Manager is responsible for high performance of warehouse storage and shipment processes. The incumbent will lead a team across three shifts while overseeing receiving, warehousing and distribution operations. This position will work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure we have the materials needed to ship our parts to our customers on time.**

**Accountable for:**

* Ensuring there are safe working conditions at all times in the warehouse.

* Leading and coaching warehouse team members, assisting in new warehouse team member selection, orientation, and development.

* Ensuring the warehouse is SQF compliant at all times.

* Organizing the warehouse to allow for efficient movement of finished product and raw materials.

* Managing finished goods inventory (customer forecasted) ensuring First-in First-Out (FIFO) shipping.

* Conducting cycle counts and physical counts as requested on raw materials and supplies.

* Fulfilling customer service and shipping documentation (including invoicing) when those individuals are unavailable.

* Determining proper staging for shipments of intermixed loads.

* Communicating with customer service and end use customer regarding productions schedules, shipping plans, and periodic extraordinary issues arising from unexpected demand or production/logistical problems.

* Identifying, planning, and implementing continual improvement projects.

* Assisting the warehouse team as needed with handling materials.

* Assisting in arranging interplant shipments.

* Reviewing warehouse equipment to ensure the correct equipment is in pace to operate efficiently.

* Working with the maintenance department to coordinate repairs as needed on equipment.

* Recommending equipment needs to improve warehouse efficiency.

* Monitoring dock appointment scheduling system and help drive compliance with this system.

* Working with the warehouse team to monitor and drive compliance with the barcode scanning process

* Completing special projects or other duties as required.
