Distribution Center Manager


Job Details

The DC Manager will oversee all aspects of the West Coast Distribution Center, including efficiency improvement, sales development, monitor margin and workplace productivity, facility and vehicle maintenance as well as food safety with guidance from the Food Safety Director.


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Must always present a professional appearance.
  • Provide leadership and guidance including recruitment and training for all operations personnel on Company procedures and Polices to ensure adherence to a" company Federal, State and Local municipalities to ensure a safe work environment
  • Coordinate with area managers to execute company strategy.
  • Responsible for Financial Analysis, Budgeting & inventory Control
  • Develop comprehensive KPI reports and implement continuous improvement plans to drive process improvement,
  • Provide direction and input to the company based on experience, market intelligence and manufacturing knowledge.
  • Willingness to work Weekends and Holidays as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s Degree
  • At least three (3) years of previous customer service experience required.
  • Food customer service/distribution experience preferred.
  • Previous sales experience preferred, but not required.
  • Working knowledge of CRM tools is a plus.
  • Some travel to and frrom both DC sites in LA and West Sacramento
