Job Title: FP&A Analyst


Overview:

As an FP&A Analyst, you will be a key member of the FP&A team, focusing on budgeting, analyzing and reporting costs related to our construction projects and operational activities. This role involves working closely with various departments to understand business processes and related costs. It also involves working with Oracle ERP and big data sets.


Key Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed analysis and reporting of costs associated with our operational activities and construction of new projects.

Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts by providing insights into cost trends, drivers, and potential risks.

Track budget performance of construction projects on contract level and prepare periodic reports.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and assumptions for budgeting and forecasting processes.

Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for management review, highlighting key cost metrics, trends, and variances.

Communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.

Support ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests to address specific business needs or inquiries.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus.

2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related roles, preferably with a focus on cost analysis. Experience in renewables and construction projects is a plus.

Eager to learn mindset.

High proficiency in data analysis, and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, Power Point).

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of cost accounting principles, budgeting processes, and financial forecasting methodologies.
