Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material
  • Provide accurate information in-person and via phone and email
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail and deliveries
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
  • Order office and kitchen supplies and keep inventory of stock
  • Maintain the conference center calendar
  • Keep updated records of office expenses and costs
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing
  • Support the event team with ad hoc requests
  • Create and maintain documents in PowerPoint, Excel and Word

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational, communication, time management and multitasking skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with vendors, team members, attendees and stakeholders
  • Exceptional Microsoft Office Suite capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Customer service attitude
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Bachelor s Degree preferred
