Production Manager - Flooring
As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for organizing and overseeing the manufacturing process. Your role includes ensuring efficient production, meeting quality standards, and adhering to deadlines. You ll collaborate with other managers, estimate costs, and optimize workflow. Responsibilities:
- Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements.
- Estimate costs and prepare budgets.
- Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.
- Monitor production to resolve issues.
- Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel.
- Determine necessary resources (workforce, raw materials, etc.).
- Approve maintenance work and equipment purchases.
- Ensure output meets quality standards.
- Enforce health and safety precautions.
- Report to upper management.
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven experience as a production director.
- Deep knowledge of production management.
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
- Experience in reporting on key production metrics.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- A Bachelors in business administration or relevant field is preferred.
