Pinnacle Partners is assisting our client in their search for a Systems Administrator to join their team in the Indianapolis, IN area. This successful resource will be responsible for installing and supporting hardware including PC s, Windows Servers, firewalls, and monitoring tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design system and networks and providing maintenance to these environments
- Provide initial set-ups, upgrades, replacements, and support of equipment
- Design infrastructure for sites to support control system software
- Patch and upgrade servers as needed
- Work with team members to ensure hardware installed can run their automation software correctly
- Interact with external customers to understand troubleshooting needs
- Travel to customer sites as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of experience with Desktop Support with some exposure to Windows Servers
- Bachelor s degree
- Strong communication skills
PREFERRED SKILLS/CHARACTERISTICS:
- Experience in control systems
