Responsibilities
Receives, identifies, and stores all raw material and finished goods. Operates computer terminal to input or retrieve inventory information. Complete final preparation for shipping and receiving of finished goods. Maintains all appropriate paperwork.
- Loads and unloads trucks.
- Moves and stores material and finished goods using forklift, hi-low or other material handling equipment.
- Sorts and distributes material to various areas following work orders instructions.
- Operates computer terminal to input or retrieve information.
- Notify supervisor when stock reaches designated re-order point.
- As required, removes finished goods from each production areas to prepare for shipment.
- Packs, wraps, boxes, or crates material to be shipped; attached bill of lading; Unpacks and sorts incoming merchandise; Inspects for damage and checks shipment against bill of lading and purchase order; Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- 2-3 years warehouse/ shipping and receiving experience.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Must have valid driver's license.
- ERP or WMS system use a plus
