Title **Import Customer Service Agent (Freight Forwarding)**
Description **Position Summary:** Import Customer Service Agent is responsible of handling customer service and operations for air & ocean import shipments. Providing remarkable customer service by working with customers and overseas agents closely. Ensuring the proper and timely movement of shipment and information to the corresponding party. Building good relationships with customers, overseas agents, and service providers to maintain a smooth and efficient shipment flow.
**Essential duties and responsibilities include the following but not limit to:**
* Perform air & ocean Import operation, coordination, and quotation.
* Build close and strong relationships with our customers, overseas agents, and service providers
* Communicate effectively with customers, overseas agents, service providers, and co-workers
* Coordinate with importers and overseas agents to gather import documents
* Accurate and timely data entry into our system
* Issuing arrival notice
* Coordinate the customs clearance of import shipments with brokerage team
* Tracking shipments daily and provide shipments status to customer and overseas agents
* Arrange and dispatch door delivery
* Immediate collection of charges from customers if needed
* Create debit note/invoice to bill to agents/customers
* Review and improve working procedures for a more efficient daily workflow if needed
* Perform other duties as assigned
**Education and Work Experience**
* 2-3 years of experience in Air/Ocean import or Export operation
* Good customer service skill
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Bilingual with English and Chinese/Mandarin is preferred
* Computer Skills, Microsoft office
