Responsibilities:


As part of an interdisciplinary team of professionals dedicated to providing healing and hope to patients, families, and communities affected by substance use disorder Residential Treatment Specialists at Serenity Lane:


Make themselves available for patient care and milieu management including but not limited to: taking roll at activities, meals, meetings, and bed checks and providing a presence out in the treatment community.


Provide a safe, therapeutic environment for patients.


Read memos, e-mails and other pertinent Serenity Lane information nightly.


Walk the perimeter of the campus to ensure safety.


Maintain current patient records according to O.A.R.'s and company policy.


Familiarize themselves with and follow protocol for Patients who are at risk either of harming themselves or others, or who are psychologically unstable.


Provide patient orientation when transferring from the Hospital Unit.


Qualifications:


Current Oregon CADC R certification required.


Oregon CADC I preferred.


Education and Experience:


Diploma required.


One year in a similar atmosphere required.
