The Rolesville Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Programs department is on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a PT - Recreation Assistant.
As a Recreation Assistant, you'll be the behind-the-scenes hero, assisting our parks and recreation staff with various department functions. This part-time seasonal position offers flexible hours depending on the season, and you might find yourself helping out with concessions, scorekeeping, or even light outdoor field set-up.
Examples of Duties
- Assist with organizing and executing exciting programs.
- Manage cash transactions in the concession booth with a smile.
- Keep score at various athletic events, adding your energy to the game.
- Join in on light outdoor field set-up to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Provide top-notch customer service, creating a warm and welcoming environment for all.
Typical QualificationsTypical Qualifications- Good communication skills to connect with our community members.
- Must be 15 years old or older.
- Ability to pass a background check to ensure a safe environment.
Education & Experience- Some recreation experience or experience dealing with the public is a plus.
- Ability to maintain effective relationships with coworkers and parents and be a positive role model for children.
Supplemental InformationSupplemental Information- Reporting Relationship: On-site, reporting directly to the Facility Attendant.
