Responsibilities include:

Strategic Vision and Planning


? Work closely with DoD to create a vision for the evolution of Safe Helpline

program and services.

? Create and implement a roadmap to continuously improve existing services

while building new services to meet the needs of those we help.

? Oversee and monitor continuous program improvements and ensure that the

program delivers services consistent with best practices in the fields of crisis

intervention and sexual violence response.

Department Leadership

? Manage, inspire and lead a large team.

? Serve as a member of senior leadership team and collaborate with other

department heads.

? Ensure we're following all operational and service policies and standards,

including hotline playbooks for contingencies; provide after-hours leadership

support as needed.

? Manage end-to-end programmatic operations and metrics for the Safe Helpline,

tracking and improving program outcomes.

? Set annual operational goals and budgets.

? Monitor all program plans and timelines and ensure that all projects are

completed on time and on budget.

? Work closely with our Technology team to ensure that our hotline technology

platforms are meeting the needs of staff, visitors, and DoD.

? Collaborate with our Communications team on Safe Helpline marketing,

advertising and website.

DoD Expertise

? Maintain extensive knowledge of DoD/military policies and protocols.

? Create opportunities for Safe Helpline staff to increase DoD specific crisis

response knowledge.

? Manage relationships with DoD stakeholders.

? Act as a lead reviewer for reports and materials developed for SAPRO.

? Monitor and ensure compliance with contract requirements.

And other duties as assigned.

Required

? Crisis intervention experience utilizing a trauma-informed model.

? Extensive knowledge of DoD/SAPR/SHARP.

? Experience working with military or veteran populations.

? Experience successfully leading large teams.

? Experience leading strategic planning and collaboration, developing proposals

and managing budgets.

? Must maintain extensive knowledge of DoD SAPRO and other military sexual

assault policies, protocols, related laws and regulations.

? Master's degree in social work/human services or minimum 7 years of equivalent

strategic leadership and department management experience.

Office Status: This position is based in Washington, DC. Please note that

staff are temporarily working remote. We will be going back into the office. Please note that

we are exploring a potential hybrid work model, which may require occasional office and

remote work to support our collaborative efforts in 2024.
