Our dedication to quality, exceptional customer service, and unequivocal results allow us to provide the best outcomes to our clients.Job Summary:Working as the Senior EVS Director, you will lead the overall management operations of the Housekeeping Department at a 400-bed care hospital account in Wichita.You will be responsible for successfully coordinating and supporting all activities of the department, working with all levels of the facility staff in matters relating to the cleanliness of the facility. The Senior Director reports to a Regional Director of Operations and manages a team of 6 managers and 115 associates. Key Responsibilities:Oversees department s financial data and statisticsApproximate:10% financial stewardship, 20% meetings, 20% various office work, 50% rounding with managers and staffMonitors unit expendituresDevelops and recommends department operating budget and ensures the department operates within budgetCoordinates housekeeping activities with other departmentsOversees food & nutrition services of the hospitalActively communicates with administration and other hospital departmentsPlans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and supervises functions and activities of the departmentsEstablishes work standards and work flowEstablishes and implements policies and procedures for departmental operationsEncourages and mentors staff creativity and innovationEnsures compliance with all regulatory agenciesRemains proactive in the achievement of the facility goals and objectivesDemonstrates quality leadership in meeting performance plansReads and develops in the Total Quality Management processDevelops and maintains job descriptions for department staffEncourages staff to participate in education programsPreferred Qualifications:Four year college degree and equal related experience strongly desired; high school diploma/GED required6 years of housekeeping management experience at a large hospital account desired3 to 5 to five years previous management experience managing managersMust have the ability to analyze and interpret financial and other dataGeneral eye for businessExcellent interpersonal skillsHigh Customer Service and quality demeanorAbility to work under pressure and meet established goals and objectivesPublic speaking skillsAbility to apply a participative approach to managing staff, to organize and prioritize tasks, and to develop budgets with a complete understanding of facility needs and requirementsExcellent stress management skills, administrative and organizational, and follow-through (with associates and clients) skills requiredProficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookApply to TouchPoint today!TouchPoint is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass StoryCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
