**The Gig:**
Reporting to the Director of Design & Development, the Design team member will be central to our growth of the Design Team as you will provide equipment drawings, collaborate with the Design Team and other NCS representatives. The drawing sets provided by NCS are utilized by architects, engineers, and others to accurately reflect the expected construction requirements relative to our equipment. These sets are also used by our sales teams for closing deals, installation teams for equipment erection, and service teams in reference.
**Responsibilities:**
* Manage your own workloads, schedules, capacity restraints, look for areas of improvement in skills or process.
* Engage with field sales to effectively communicate execution standards and expectations, supporting the rollout of the sales execution strategy.
* Utilize your team members for load balance, subject matter expert considerations, and other forms of collaboration.
* Communicate effectively with architects and engineers.
* Ensuring final designs are quality assured and meet the requirements of the project.
**Requirements:**
* AutoCad 2D training and experience. REVIT and/or Solidworks experience is favorable but not required.
* Moderate to Advanced level in Excel (models, analytics, advanced functions, charts, graphs, etc.)
* Creative problem solver with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or in a fast-paced team environment
* Exceptional ability to manage internal client relationships, leveraging strong consultative skills
* Can work remotely
* Experience working directly with sales and client success management teams.
* High sense of urgency with excellent organizational and time management skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and pay close attention to detail while adhering to strict deadlines
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
**Potential Growth & Status Change:**
Growth and profitability of the Design Team will coincide with our current NCS growth plans. As the team grows and becomes more efficient/effective management will be an area we look to fill. This experience and accomplishment affords itself to develop in more specific design applications, Key Client status and leadership roles.
