To understand more about Giant Group and our services please browse our website at: www.giantgroup.com About the role As the Head of Innovation , you will be responsible for enhancing our company s innovation capabilities by actively identifying key areas for innovation and transformation by meeting with stakeholders in the business at all levels to identify these areas for growth, you will identify and create strategic partnerships to integrate or jointly work on cutting edge technologies. Identify trends within the global operations areas and assist with region specific innovation for products and services, as well as build and manage a central intake process for new ideas and requirements throughout the companies and departments. Your ultimate objective is to lead the process and outcomes for innovation within the company, working closely with the development director and the CTO to both enhance the organisations long term innovative capabilities and align the innovation goals with the company s broader business and strategic objectives. About you You will have a graduate degree in technology, strategy, leadership or management with proven experience. You will have proven experience leading innovation or similar technology related leadership role. You will be a strategic thinker, with the ability to motivate others to fulfil the vision and inspiration you provide. You will have had exposure to agile development methodologies as well as an understanding of dev ops controls. The successful candidate will have 8 years managerial experience with extensive industry knowledge and an eye towards the future plus 8-12 years working in innovation and technology and knowledge of technological trends to help build strategy. You will be an effective communicator who will understand concepts such as RPA, AI and machine learning as well as cognitive computing and possess a strong critical mindset, with strong business acumen. Most importantly you will be forward-thinking and highly adaptable to dynamic situations with a solid understanding of innovation and how it should be applied to business along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills..
