Manager
**Role Description:**
* Provide high level consultancy role within specialist area to peer group, customers and applicable direct reports.
* Manage and implement projects relevant to specialist area
* Manages, develops and coaches team of staff and implement s performance management solutions where required
* Develop and motivate team to help ensure the delivery of function and business targets.
* Assess situations, issues and opportunities and escalate when appropriate.
* Acting as a point of escalation on complex issues and providing appropriate support to other team members
* Maintain confidentiality in all business-related matters.
* Liaise with colleagues to ensure best practice and continual improvement in delivery of service to the business.
* Establishes productive relationships and networks at Senior Management level to build and maintain customer relationships
* Responsible for managing budget/ P&L to maintain spend in line with budgetary limitations.
* Excellent verbal and written communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
* Experience leading regionally or globally distributed teams.
* Experience leading people through change while maintaining the ability to adjust to rapidly changing technology and make decisions with limited information.
* Experience with identifying opportunities to improve team efficiency and effectiveness through automation.
* Ability to prioritize and manage across multiple, often time-sensitive initiatives.
* Excellent organizational, communication, leadership and customer service skills
* Inspire, grow, and develop talent while providing vision and setting direction for the team; lead effectively through outcomes rather than tasks.
* Collaborate well with partner teams to achieve shared objectives, provide strategic insight, and lead continuous improvement efforts in customer service and operations.

* Lead hiring and career development for a team of professionals across a variety of technical disciplines.
**Technical Experience:**
* Have good Experience in Managing a team, tracking, and analysing the Work.
* Have good experience in conflict management and cross skilling the team
* 10- 12+ years of experience with knowledge of recent technologies.
* Should have contributed to the growth of the organization thru driving and taking ownership of the organization initiatives.
* Good knowledge on Data Center infrastructure , Wintel, Storage , Backup and recovery of bare metal to specific applications level backup/recovery experience.
* Basic knowledge in scripting, and automation
* Solid troubleshooting experience when it comes to solving production problems and handling escalations from levels 2 and 3.
* Sound knowledge to ITIL Framework (preferably ITIL V3 or V4 Foundation certified, incident, problem management, change management, and configuration management.
* You possess at least one technical certification (Microsoft preferred)
