LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a full-time Calendar/Docket Clerk in Cerritos, CA! This is a permanent opportunity.


Responsibilities:

  • Calculate, review, and calendar all state, federal, appellate, Office of Administration Hearing (among others) deadlines in the Firm s calendar/docketing system.
  • Review and process incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, emails, and e-filings to ensure important deadlines are calendared.
  • Maintain case matter lists to ensure correct personnel are listed for accurate Outlook integration.
  • Create, update, and distribute deadlines, hearings, and calendar reports.
  • Promptly respond to timekeeper and assistant inquiries.
  • Ensure all calendaring deadlines provided are accurate.


Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of law firm experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of appellate, federal, state, and local rules and procedures as well as litigation terminology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong customer service orientation.
  • Exceptional organizational skills; must be able to prioritize workload and competing deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in calendar/docketing software.
  • CompuLaw experience preferred.
  • Ability to research hearings/deadlines utilizing state and federal court websites, as needed.
  • Ability to work overtime to meet the department workload needs.


Compensation:

$60,000 to $75,000 per year
