Lead Desktop Support Engineer - Hedge Fund

Are you a natural problem solver?


You ll identify and solve issues within systems, products and services to improve user experience at one of the World s top performing hedge funds.


The role will be 70% project management focused, with the remaining 30% of your time spent on providing hands on support across both Windows and Linux to a variety of end-users, including Traders.


They want to hire Engineers who can give the users that warm, fuzzy feeling with every interaction.


You ll gain insight into how the funds systems intersect, you ll look at trends in tickets and get to the root cause of problems before having the freedom to build processes to find solutions for these issues.


As expected from a fund of this calibre, you ll be rewarded handsomely in terms of compensation, consisting of a generous basic salary + guaranteed bonus (roughly a 60/40 split).


You ll be joining a team of Engineers who have previously worked at both elite trading firms and FAANG organizations - no prior finance experience needed.
