Tyto Athene is searching for a Project Coordinator to join a team of expert engineers and technicians supporting a mission critical high profile government customer. In this role you'll function as part of a team providing full lifecycle support to Unified Communications services. Support will include project management, and support services for current and future UC capabilities. Primary services include audio visual, video conferencing, digital signage and internet protocol television.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the program manager and other project managers as part of the Unified Communications team
- Assist with coordination of AV hardware installations across multiple sites
- Assist with coordination all aspects of AV fit-up in new and existing buildings
- Provide Tier 1 (help desk) assistance with problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
- Train government customers in proper use of UC systems
- Prepare operational guides and other how to guides
- Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of UC systems
- Provide assistance to user in accessing and using UC systems
- Document hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures
- Apply concepts and define and implement hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures
- Assist other in conducting site surveys
- Contribute to the analysis on UC systems but ensuring designs are cost efficient, able to be integrated and reliable.
- Communicate with other engineering personnel to coordinate the interrelated design and assure project completion
- Assist with designs, documents, and code development for programmable devices
- Develop costing proposals for program manager
- Interpret drawings, specifications and other related documents
- Work with engineering personnel, customers, vendors and other personnel to gather requirements, make recommendations and create project plan documents.
- Assist with implementation of AV projects
- Acts as equipment custodian and performs inventory asset management and accountability functions.
- Develop AVMM installation schedules based upon equipment delivery, integration complexity, and customer priorities
- Organize and direct teams to address critical system failures
- Work with other project managers and the program manager to successfully bring projects to completion
Qualifications:
- Technical Bachelor s degree and no experience or associates degree and Two (2) years telecommunications, project management, engineering, computer networking, computer science, electronics, IT or communications experience. In lieu of an associate s degree, and additional two (2) years experience in areas listed above
Required:
- ACTIVE OR REINSTATEABLE TS/SCI W/ POLYGRAPH CLEARANCE
- No years of experience and a Bachelor s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
- In lieu of a Bachelor s degree, an Associate s Degree in a technical discipline and Two (2) years telecommunications, project management, engineering, computer networking, computer science, electronics, IT or communications experience or Four (4) years of experience in the areas identified above may be substituted for a Bachelor s degree
Preferred:
- Experience with one or more of the following: IT or AV projects and fit-up, Crestron, Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams Room Systems, Cisco Video Conferencing, Haivision, Mass Notification, Land Mobile Radio.
