As a public employer, employees participate in the Ohio Public Employee Retirement System (OPERS).**Required Qualifications:+ Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy+ Possess and maintain an active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)+ Active Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) license from the Ohio Medical Board+ Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification+ Reliable transportation to travel to other MetroHealth facilities as needed.Preferred Qualifications:+ 3 years of experience as a RRT in a critical care environment.+ Extensive experience with mechanical ventilation, airway management, and hemodynamic monitoring+ Possess a Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the AHA+ Possess an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) form the AHA
