Primary Responsibilities

Operate radar during integration and test events

Safe operation of the system and compliance with standard operating procedures

Maintain run logs documenting I&T activities, run requests, and system configurations

Identify anomalies/observations and respond to real time issues during integration/testing

Secondary Responsibilities

Assist with troubleshooting and investigation of software (SW) and hardware (HW) issues

Participate in maintenance of systems (support integrators/maintainers) (usually as extra set of hands )

Maintain tools for system operations

Perform data transfers

Key Skills/Attributes

Linux/Unix command line navigation, file/folder manipulation, light scripting

MATLAB introductory/intermediate use existing scripts and/or modify new scripts

Detail oriented follow process/procedure, recommend improvements, make detailed and organized observations

Communication brief leads/team members on issues observed and test shot notes

Customer-facing represent program in joint operations in common workplace

Experience Level

1-3 years experience with RF test operations, preferably in Raytheon site. Will consider similar sites under purview of US Navy

4-year degree in engineering, or 5+ years relevant experience (ex-military SPY, Patriot, THADD programs).

Requires training at Marlborough, MA site followed by OJT

Position good for those who want to travel to other sites to provide training and set up new Quest Defense teams performing similar work

A lot of backfill in this position at sites

Due to nature of work a US Citizen is required
