Summary:Meta is seeking an experienced, organized, and proactive Land Ready Program Manager to join the Data Center Site Development team. This role will sit within the emerging Land Ready team focused on managing and executing on-site improvements and off-site infrastructure to prepare sites for future development, adding value and ultimately reducing data center delivery timelines. A strong Land Ready Program Manager candidate will have a background in large-scale construction projects, land development, and project management or associated function. The candidate will be detail-oriented, have a track record of developing and leading new processes across cross-functional teams, have a keen ability to think both strategically and analytically, and have experience navigating the challenges that accompany execution of large-scale development projects. An ability to communicate effectively, form partnerships (internal and external), and influence stakeholders to action are requirements for this position.Required Skills:Land Ready Program Manager Responsibilities:Support the implementation of the newly adopted Land Ready strategic approach to prepare a portfolio of sites for potential future developmentUse technical expertise to make site specific scope recommendations related to site preparation and offsite enablement to strategically position the site for more efficient future developmentPartner with Land Ready Manager on decision-making for the highest and best use of the yearly program budget allocationManage pre-development and execution of Land Ready scope across a portfolio of sites to seek the best overall health of the wider portfolioManage relationships with key stakeholders including Site Selection project teams, consultants, internal design and construction teams, and municipal partners to oversee the design and construction of Land Ready scopeCoordinate with key internal design and construction partners in the creation of design plans and specifications to support contracting and delivery of Land Ready improvementsTrack and monitor ongoing site improvements including permit compliance, agreement management, schedule, budget, etc.Assess site risks and opportunities by compiling and/or analyzing site information, including permitting and land use requirements, legal, physical risk, and financial implicationsBe a key stakeholder in the entitlements process (e.g., zoning, land use permitting, agreement modifications) to support prepositioned development of data center sitesWork with key project team members to ensure alignment among all internal stakeholders and to find creative ways to overcome obstacles in the site improvement processSupport the preparation of project recommendations for presentation to management for approvalDevelop scalable, efficient tools and processes to improve delivery and communication and track progress and risks at data center development sitesMaintain company s strong relationships with key external stakeholders such as planning and permitting experts supporting the project, the community, and authorities having jurisdictionWillingness to travel domestically (up to 25% a month) as project needs requireMinimum Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Planning, Real Estate, or equivalent degree8+ years of construction management, civil engineering, site/land development, development project managementExperience in managing multiple projects and coordinating with internal staff and external consultants, vendors and other stakeholdersExperience with heavy civil and site improvement design and constructionProven interpersonal and communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Preferred Qualifications:Speculative land developmentData center development experiencePublic Compensation:$152,000/year to $221,000/year + bonus + equity + benefitsIndustry: InternetEqual Opportunity:Meta is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
