Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role as a Medical Records Clerk at Ivera Group located in Lansdale, PA. The Medical Records Clerk will be responsible for the following:
- Managing and organizing medical documents based on predetermined criteria.
- Ensure that documents are filed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a systematic and organized filing system.
- Retrieve requested documents promptly and accurately.
- Keep a log of document requests and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Responding to requests for medical records.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and ensure compliance with data protection policies.
- Maintain security measures to safeguard sensitive documents.
- Scan and digitize documents for electronic storage when required.
- Manage electronic databases and ensure proper indexing of digital files.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- 3+ years of file room experience preferred.
- Prior experience in medical records management or related field is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology and Health Information Management is a plus.
- Excellent Phone Etiquette and Communication skills.
- Proficient in Clerical Skills, such as data entry and record keeping.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and multi-tasker.
- Must have the ability to prioritize workload and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to lift approximately 35-50 lbs.
